Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible with establishing the current study of eyewitnesses' memory, and the role of children in witnessing. Her publications are numerous, she has received numerous grants and is the recipient of numerous awards both national and internationally. She has offered advice on policy and research for numerous government agencies and departments around the globe. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
