Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She is also the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is widely praised for launching the modern science of the eyewitness memory of children and using child victims to serve as witnesses in court. Professor Goodman who is a prolific author with a wide range of research publications as well as numerous awards to her credit and is the recipient of numerous national and global distinctions. She has consulted with numerous government agencies and governments across the world on policies as well as research on children who are victims of the justice system. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center, formerly The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional groups, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of the Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has served as president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division as well as three divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
