Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comedian born June 26th, 1984. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on the Jeannie Tate Show the web series after performing improv comedy and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. The show continued to grow with her appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim, vs. World. Let's celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of lawyer Bernadette Plaza as well as finance expert David Plaza. The mother of the child is Irish, English and Irish as is her father, who is Puerto Rican. Plaza received her education from an all girls Catholic high school that she attended in 2002 and then the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. In high school, Plaza was the president of Wilmington Drama League and her student government at her school. In 2004 while she was in her second year of college Plaza had a stroke that caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia and a period of paralysis. The condition has since improved. Plaza has been performing sketches and improv at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The New York location has seen Plaza performed stand-up comedians in The Improv as well as the Laugh Factory. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode. Troopers on CollegeHumor was where Plaza played the Princess a satirical Sci-Fi roleplaying character. Plaza was first a saxophone player in Cassorla's Bona Fide (2014). Her first appearance was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings 'in 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, was a show that featured Plaza in the role of Hawaiian Coffee. She played Aaron Burr and Cat Adams and Cat Adams, respectively, on Drunk History. Criminal Minds, a TV serial. She made a triumphant comeback for the character in Season 12 of the show. The following year, it was announced that Plaza will be appearing in the indie comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
