Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is a stand-up actor and comedian who is famous for her ability to express her wit in a humorous style. She appears as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. On The Jeannie Tate Show she was the first to debut on a web-based show by performing sketches and improv in the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. After her debut she went on to made appearances as a character in Judd Apatow Funny People and Scott Pilgrim's Vs. World. It is her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the daughter Bernadette Plaza of an attorney and David Plaza, a financial expert. The place she was born is Wilmington Delaware. She is the daughter of Irish, English and Irish and her father is Puerto Rican. Plaza graduated from an Catholic all-girls college in 2002, and then from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. While she was a senior in high school, Plaza was involved at Wilmington Drama League shows and was president of the student body. Plaza was struck by a stroke while in her sophomore year at the college. This left her with an expressive aphasia, as well being paralyzed. She is now fully recovered. Since 2004, Plaza has been performing sketches and improv on the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Also, she's been performing stand-up comedy at The Laugh Factory and The Improv in N.Y.C. Plaza starred as Robin Gibney on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street. She also was Robin Gibney on The Jeannie Tate Show. Troopers on CollegeHumor featured Plaza as the Princess a satirical Sci-Fi roleplaying character. Plaza first made her debut on saxophone in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. As Hawaiian Coffee, she appeared on HarmonQuest's HarmonQuest 2016 as a Gnome. In the same year, she played Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds is a television serial. The actress made her triumphant return to the role in Season 12. The following year, it was confirmed that Plaza will be appearing in the indie film An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
