Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. Her name is well-known as the pioneer of modern-day scientific research of children's memory as eyewitnesses and the use of child victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer who has received several prizes and grants. She consults with numerous countries and agencies around the globe regarding policy and research on children's victimization within the court system. She serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly known as Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
