Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She is widely acknowledged for her pioneering work in studying witness testimony by children and the eyewitness memory within legal contexts. Professor Goodman is an prolific writer, has won numerous prizes and grants. She has been consulted by numerous organizations and government officials across the globe on policy and studies on children as victims in the legal system. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She is a member of numerous professional associations such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association.
