Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman holds a Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name has been recognized for pioneering the study of child witnesses and eyewitness memories within legal contexts. Professor Goodman, who has many papers and grants and is the recipient of numerous national and global awards. She has provided policy and research consultations to numerous agencies and government departments from all over the world. She is also a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations such as those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She was president of the the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and three Divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
