Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. Her name is widely praised as the pioneer of modern research of child eyewitness memories and utilizing child victims to be legal witnesses. Prof. Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and been recognized with several international and national awards. She has offered advice on policy and research to many agencies and departments across the world. Additionally, she provides consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a part of a variety of professional organizations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the president of American Psychological Association's three divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
