Aubrey Plaza
Aubrey Plaza, born on June 26, 1984 is an actor and comedian recognized for her dry comedy. She plays April Ludgate, a character on the television show Parks and Recreation. Her debut came on the Jeannie Tate Show the web-based show, following her performance of sketches and improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. In her later career she went on to star in Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. It's her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington Delaware the daughter of attorney Bernadette Plaza and financial Specialist David Plaza. The daughter has the Puerto Rican father and an Irish-English mother. Plaza was a graduate of a Catholic all-girls college in 2002. She also graduated from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in the year 2006. In high school, Plaza was the director of the Wilmington Drama League and worked with her school's Student Government. Plaza was struck by a stroke in 2004 when she was a sophomore at college. She developed expressive aphasia, and experienced some brief periods of paralysis. The recovery process is now complete. Since 2004, Plaza has been performing sketches and improv in The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. In New York City, she has performed at The Improv and the Laugh Factory. Plaza has appeared on E.S.P.N. Mayne Street. and in The Jeannie The. Show, as Robin Gibney. Additionally, she appeared in the first season of Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. Troopers is a series from CollegeHumor, she was the Princess, a satirical science-fiction character. The year was 2014. Plaza was the first to debut as a saxophonist in Cassorla's Bona Fide. Her first appearance was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. On HarmonQuest in 2016, Plaza played Hawaiian Coffee the Grinch. That same year she played Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. television series Criminal Minds. In the 12th season, she had a great comeback on the character. One year later, it was reported that Plaza was set to be in the comedy indie An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
