Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza was born in 1984. The actress is an American actor and comedian. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. On The Jeannie Tate Show her character was the first to debut on a web-based show after doing comedy sketches and improv shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She continued her career with guest appearances in Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim, vs. World. It is fitting to celebrate her birth this day. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington in Delaware) is the child of Bernadette Plaza, who is an attorney by profession, and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother was Irish and English, while her father is from Puerto Rico. Plaza received her education from an all girls Catholic high school that she attended in 2002 as well as the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. As an incoming senior at high school, she was a participant in Wilmington Drama League shows and served as president of the student council. Plaza had a stroke 2004, while she was studying at a the college. She was diagnosed with expressive aphasia, and experienced briefly involuntary paralysis. The recovery process is now complete. Plaza started doing comedy and sketch at New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theater back in 2004. The Laugh Factory as well The Improv are two locations located in N.Y.C. where Plaza performed stand-up comedy. Plaza was on E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street & The Jeannie Tate Show playing the character that of Robin Gibney and was also featured as Ben Schwartz, as well as appearing as Robin Gibney for the premiere episode of Terrible Decisions. In CollegeHumor Troopers, she played a satirical science-fiction character called The Princess. Plaza first made her debut on saxophone in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014.
